Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Feeding and tending to animals
- Milking cows
- Cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
- Identifying disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
- Setting and monitoring water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
- Recognizing and treating certain livestock health problems
- Performing general farm duties
- Supervising and overseeing breeding and other livestock-related programs
