    Responsibilities and Tasks:

    • Feeding and tending to animals
    • Milking cows
    • Cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
    • Identifying disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
    • Setting and monitoring water lines, airflow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
    • Recognizing and treating certain livestock health problems
    • Performing general farm duties
    • Supervising and overseeing breeding and other livestock-related programs
